Analogue output from WB O2
Ok so most of the WB o2 kits output an analogue signal for your ECU right ?
My question is this analogue signal going to be in the 0-1 Volt range or the 0-5 volt range.
I see the Zoltric unit output a 0-5 volt signal.
But most the cars here use a narrow band sensor so the ECM is going to be expecting a 0-1 volt analogue signal
Which WB O2s put out a Narrow Band Analogue signal and which do the wide ?

It dosent look like a 1 VOlt signal. Ive mailed them asking for clarification waiting for a reply.

I dunno if Zeitronix supports "narrowband output" aka 0-1 volt output.
Only some of the widebands have a user-configurable 0-5 volt output. I know neither PLX or TechEdge does. I'm going to guess and say Zeitronix doesn't have this feature either, or else support for their output wouldn;t be such a big issue with UD/Crome/etc.

Well I got a responce to my question.
They are implementing it right now.
So it would seem they dont have it but will have it pretty soon.
This complete circuss of picking the right WB at the right price is such a pain in the **** it would seem better and faster to just have built my own unit.
At least I learned one thing as to why our early attempts failed. We where walking arround with a half dead Bike bat. And the heater on the WB never really got it up.
You need a good 12 Volts with at least 3-4 amps to get it to run right.

Just get an LC-1 it's the cheapest and has the most features. I was trying to make a diy one back in the day too but it just ended up being a pita, it was almost as expensive too but that's because it was one of the setups with the sensor from Hondas. Anyways, I got mine for $150 with a sensor on ebay, and for that cheap, me soldering some DIY thing together isn't even worth my time.
I used my DIY setup for 2 years. Never a PITA. Wasn't near as expnsive. I had about 40.00 invested in. I have a LC-1 now, just because I'm tuning alot of customers cars and wanted something eally compact.
I going to be re-selling them.
So Ive justifed one of each.
Let the customer choose what he thinks suits him best.
Just trying to get a handle on the features.
You think you know it all but then a question like this comes up and you go Hummm not really sure.
