Default Datalogging DKU-5 cable?

Ok I found the Pinout for this cable. I made my connections and all it gives is bad values if anything at all. Anyone here ever got a DKU-5 to work. I see issues on PGMFI.org about it. Its upsetting me.

I have:

White to pin 1 ground.
Red to pin 2 RX
Blue to pin 4 TX

Any help would be appreciated.

Most of them have the sheilding already soldered to the wire on the PCB.

I tried the cable on Hyper terminal and it works fine. It must just be my laptop or that ECU control doesn't like certain com assignments.
