Default Automagic transmission problem.

my little bros 92 civic lx auto won`t shift into over drive. it work fine on the firts 3 gear but once it shift itself in to 4th it became neutral, no banging noise or anything.
cliff: once it shift in to OD it became neutral
What could be the problem.. everything else work fine other then that.
