Default TPS reads -5 %

I am logging with crome pro and am getting a reading of -5 on my TPS. i know this is most likly screwing up my readings and performance but does that -5 make a large differance? i know it idles like ---- even if i have 1200 in the idle setting box on crome it still wants to die out... i am thinking because it doesnt see that its at 0 so it pulls some fuel out..... and to get the TPS to read 0 i have to push the pedal down quite a bit. i have a new TPS to put on but befor i do i was curious how big of a differance it might make.

In my exp, a TPS of about -3 to 0 on CROME makes no diff in drivability (decel injector cut-off, and Idle)

Id whip out the multimeter and set the TPS to .5v w/ Key-on and closed throttle.

And for what its worth, the idle target and IACV duty cycle options in CROME (Uber and Hdata for that matter), have 0 effect on idle. Thats what I have personally noticed atleast.

I hear ya instead of using the multimeter i had someone watch the crome TPS setting... I was off by -5% but most times -8% so im glad i replaced it.. Not to mention when i did try to adjust the one on the car it woudl not go below -5% so i know it was bad.. put the new one in and i could go from -8% to 10% so my old one was obviously bad. One thing i noticed is most all TPS i have seen are rivited on but mine was star keys so it made is soooo easy for me.. im not sure if the person that had the motor befor me had to replace it or if my year h22 just had the star screws. Who knows..
