Default the vacuume on my boost gauge reads 12psi after a 5th gear pull...

i've gone in 5th gear today twice to about 120mph and after those runs, the boost gauge reads 12psi in vacuume in idle instead of the regular 20psi in vacuume in idle. if i turn the car off seconds after that and turn it back on it's back at 20psi vacuume in idle. once when i took it to 140mph the computer went into limp mode i think cause the rpms would'nt go over 2000rpm, i pulled off the negative battery cable and put it back on to reset the ecu and the car was back to normal again. does anyone have any idea what this could be? ALSO: does it matter if i got my BOV T'd off the fuel pressure regulator?
gear: t3, vafc w/450inj. front mount ic, 255walboro fuel pump, turbo excess rfl BOV, b16 11psi.

does the BOV Td' off the fuel pressure regulator affect the a/f ratio? thanks dude

i personally wouldn't T off the fpr... it may effect it... just T it off something else... i dont like to T off the MAP either... i T'd the PCV for the bov and boost gauge is off the nipple on the TB.

wouldn't the PCV valve open and not provide vacuume to the BOV?

Another good spot is off the brake booster. That's where I tee'd mine to my vac mani.
