Default Batronix Eeprom burner not working.

i seem to be having a recurring problem with this unit. It wont write certain 29c256 chips. I noticed that on the chips themselves hav little code numbers below the 29c # and its either a 90pc chip or a 15pc chip. Does that mean anything?

also i can't figure out how to burn those new SST 27sf512 chips.

I get a error code that says cant program succesfully or some crap like that.

sometime it burns but other times it doesnt. it uses a serial port cable and is not USB connected. what do i do?

im really frustratedcause i bought these chips from Xenocron and i cant use them. dammmit!!!!

the only thing i can modify is the first programmable fields with hex and dec. As you enter the numers everything else changes. last programmable and total programmable fields change as you enter info on the first 2 programmable fields.
