Default help, engine running badly.. no, horribly.. any ideas?

i have a 91 crx Si to make a long story short, i put an ebay chip in a pm6 ecu, and that fucked up the engine.. so my friend gave me his stock HF engine and i put it in. before the engine blew i replaced the fuel pump, and then it had some sputtering.. and i had to call a tow truck because it got so bad.. so technicly it still ran.. but not the point. i have the Si intake manifolds (intake and exhaust) and the Si tranny with a pm6 ecu.. i was just recently told that i need the pm8.. im not sure why it would do that with the stock engine though before i put the new engine in.. apparently i posted before in the wrong forum.. so now i put it in here. im going to try putting a pm8 .. wich my friend just called me and im going to do that now, ill post again if it makes a differece.. sorry if thats confusing, i guess thats what you get for having ADD hah late

PM6 ecu is designed for a 1.6l engine w/ 16 valves and 240cc injectors, the PM8 is designed for a 1.5l 8 valves and 190cc injectors.

This could be your problem
