I have a d16 vtec and its turboed and all and when i out it in first gear and press on the gas and start to release the clutch i fell some grinding from the floorboard not in the shifter. Only first gear does this and only when i begin to take off (regular driving). What could it be?

Do you still have the stock clutch?

 

yeah the clutch is stock but the pedal feels normal (pressure wise) except when i start to take off I feel like a grind or kind of cracking from the pedals (floorboard). Could it be the clutch? Or is it the tranny?
