I know this is the engine tech section and i didn't quite know where to put this, so i'm sorry before hand. The AC controller inside my dash won't light up when i turn the lights on. The green part in the buttons light up, but the white clear in the middle won't. It may only come on in certain cituations, but rarely when i take sharp turns or stops. Then it will go off. Somebody please help me, the connectors are in.

 

Any bare wires showing that may be shorting? How are the bulbs?

 

I thought about the bulbs, Maybe i should replce them

 

man i just did that on my CRX, what a PITA! Be VERY careful when removing it! If its the electronic Si one there are 2 cables to release. take out the stereo and wiggle it down through the stereo slot. be GENTLE it breaks VERY easy

 

wait the same thing happened to you, was it your bulbs or what?

 

yup, just a burnt out bulb(s)

 

my a/c control back lights wont work on my ek sometimes.. but then i just hit it or slam the temp lever back and forward and it turns on...lol
