Volvo T3 Flange
I've heard that the weird turbo flange on the the Volvo T3's is hard to mate up with a regular T3 manifold flange. Anyone have any experience with this and/or know an easy way to fix it or make it easier to mate up?
here's some options:
you can mill the lip down.
you can make a wide metal gasket.
if it's an adapter plate, it just has to be bigger to seal the overhang.
weld the round radius parts and grind it flat.
last resort is to weld it permanent.

Lol, I guess that sounds like the easiest way to take care of it...Damn Volvo people just have to be difficult dont they? How'd you keep the filings from the sanding from going down into the turbo?
I just made a template and then cut the gasket out of some thin gauged scrap metal I had kickin around.
