Default rhb5 on d16z6

would it be safe to put an rhb5 on a d16z6 with the stock injectors at say 4-5psi intercooled i have turboedit wideband and a burner so i have some kind of management, i would run this until i got some dsm 450s then up the boost to 8psi...

I would at least put an FMU on it if your leaving stock injectors.

is your car obd1 or 0? you cant use turboedit on a obd0 car. uberdata is the way, and it probably isnt safe to boost at all with stock injectors. just spend the 50 bux and get a set of dsms

4-5psi intercooled, might as well get an FMU... I have that same set-up except I run anywhere from 5-7psi (7 is the peak spike) and it runs safely. Even though the management (FMU) is shitty it can handle the 5-6psi, but definitely look into getting 450's with some better management.

an fmu should only be ran to get u to the dyno. they do work,i ran one. but if u waunt to make more power, and do it safely, and u want ur motor to last, get it tuned.

damn, im just getting impatient i needed to be talked down thanks, from what i understand an rhb5 is a pretty good size for a d16 not too small, but still not big at all (a good size for the street), i am fully capable of tuning it but i guess i still have a lot to learn about boost and injector size i needs me some dsm 450's...

there aren't many smaller turbos than a rhb5. I should know, I had one.
