I did a couple searches but couldn't find much info on this turbo. The K04 is made by KKK and comes in Audi TT's and I think the 2004-up Jetta and Golf 1.8t's. The earlier 1.8t's came with the K03 which is a little too small.

I want to get to 250-300 horses on a D16Z6. Does anyone know if the K04 will flow enough air to reach these goals.
Also does anyone know what type of flange KKK turbochargers have?

BTW the K03 is good to about 220hp on the 20-valve 1.8t engines and go for about 150 bucks on www.vwvortex.com

K04- TT, 2.7Bi-Turbo, all 1.8t quattro's


you could prob hit 250 w/ a K04 but not much more
kkk turbos usually have a 3 bolt in/out and are internal gate

DO NOT USE one off of a beetle the comp outlet is retarded

Those things are TINY. the K04 is slightly bigger but still small...T25ish. I think the k04 has a larger comp. housing but that's it. I could be wrong..I'm not a VW guy, but my friend is.

 

Yeah I think I'm gonna see if I can find a K26 off of a 944 when I start building mine
