ok i have been looking at the zetronix widebands, im having a hard time grasping how to use a wideband and datalog, although i think i have turbo edit down pretty good and i think i could tune with turbo edit, what im not understanding is how can you use a wideband at al let alone log it with no display? just by plugging in a laptop? and does the wideband 02 sensor replace your stock 02 sensor? and i dont understand how you can datalog directly from the ecu instead of from a wideband controller? i really need to make some sence of this shiz

With the Zeitronix all you need is a capable laptop(mine isn't). You plug the Zeitrnoix unti into your laptop and it logs directly onto your computer. Download the software and you'll see.

so do you just pop out your stock 02 sensor while your using the wideband and put that sensor in? if so then you wouldnt be running closed loop right? so do you need a second 02 bung to use the wideband in closed loop? or can you just shove the 02 sensor in the tail pipe or what?

You can do it two ways...

Leave the stock 02 in and connected to your ECU

or

The Zeitronix should have the option to send a 0-1v narrowband signal to the ECU. Connect this outout to the wire that the normal narrowband O2 sensor is connected to. Or you can just tap into ECU pin C16 I believe.

ok a few more questions it looks like with the zeitronix im going to need the boost sensor as well, so that when im logging afr/rpm i can know what vac./psi i was at too right? and when im actually driving around logging, can someone walk me through how i will go through the rpm's/gears/throttle position ? im thinking i go through 1st and 2nd at part throttle (vacc) to about 4000 rpm and then go wide open through 3rd gear.....thats something i have a hard time grasping is tuning for part throttle vs. WOT can some one please elaborate
