Default my plans

this is wut i have:
del sol b16a3
str fuel rail
dc headers
cheap cold air
CTR cams
and feild vtec controller
msd fuel pump(being shipped as we speak...hopefully )

this is wut i plan:
t25 (off of talon)
XS turbo manifold (cheap, EBAY!! )
DSM blue top injectors
DSM side mount
DSM bov
oil lines from home depot(some dont know but they work )
FMU or uberdata or hondata w/boost
AEM fuel pressure regulator
etc...miss. stuff like vacum hoses and clamps and piping

am i missing anything? i'm a noob also, but from the info i've collected imma try to slap together my own home made turbo kit with the help of a fsr.com member hopefully we can keep it under $700 (we'll have to see wut we can find for cheap)
wut's the input on this so far guys? are there any flaws? i'm sure there are...i was hoping to boost 6psi and no higher no lower...but i do have a few questions...

1)should i use my stock b16 cams or keep the CTR cams in?
2)is it necesary to replace my stock injectors with the blue tops?(with my planned kit)
3)(this is more of a cosmetic thing)i'm assuming ps and ac while have to be removed for it to fit?

"CTR cams with a T25? jesus.. as soon as vtec engauges the torque is gonna fall on its face because the turbo is going to fall off quick.

T25 is to small for a b16a period, a t25 is almost to small for a d16a6."

can someone please elaberate on this for me please? so by saying that the turbo would fall off...that means it's a big no, no for the cams...? but why's that?

my $.02

make sure you brace that manifold to the block, the xs turbo manifold is the same as the ssautochrome, aka ssautoshit. they will work, but don't plan on keeping that.
cheap welds, cheap metal dont make for a good manifold. people use them, but I have yet to see/hear about one that people dont have a problem with. they can be modified to work though.

you ask about the 450 injectors. yes, you will need those.

for your FM, dont waste your time/money on a FMU. send your ecu to someone like projekteg(kevin) -the mod for this section, he will get your ecu chipped correctly for you with uberdata, for pretty cheap, and your car will run 10X's better.

oil lines, just spend $75 from stealthmode. its everything you need, and the peice of mind of your oil line getting a kink and blowing your turbo and creating more of a mess for you.

the turbo, that thing is going to be way to small for that motor.

everything else on your list though looks pretty good.

ohh yeah, read the FAQ/stickeys at the top of every board.

no t25 for the b16. .60/.63t3 or .48/.60t3 for that motor.

If you're using the ssauto it doesn't clear a/c but should clear p/s. If I had a b16a3 I'd try and put together a ballin' setup. Waste of a good engine to be done super ghetto especially with a fmu and HD oil lines. You'll be kicking yourself down the road when cheaping out on parts. :P

if you have delsol vtec i suggest you research more and figure out what works best on a b series, that kit you described will probably hurt performance than improve it.. a t25 is too small for my 3 hp lawnmower.

thanks for the imput guys...i appreciate it...so i gues i'm not going with a t25 then...good looking, i would have bought it...hahaha...but yea...i do plan on getting things right, but as cheap as possible...it's more of a "see wut i can do with $500 bucks" turbo project then "i have a tight turbo kit" project...

1)wut about a T3? i can pick one up for the about same or alittle more...
2)and that turbo manifold, can i just have someone go over the original welds?

the junkyards here say $75 for pretty much any turbo. so use that info for what you will.

and the ssautoshit mani will work if braced properly. just dont say we didnt warn you.

you might as well get a T25

and look for sabbs and turbo thunderbird coups. those turbos are what you need.
