v-afc or s-afc and 450dsm injectors good nuff for 11psi?
i plan on boosting 11psi and using an s-afc and 450 dsm injectors for fuel needs, will this b ok for 11psi?.....also for spark iv got msd 8.5mm wires,msd cap and msd blaster 3 coil...should i b ok?
usually you can only get 10psi from DSM 450 and Safc/Vafc before you through the CEL, I wouldn't recommend it for more than 9psi on the HACK, leaning out would be a problem!
the more you have to enrich fuel for boost, the less boost you will be able to run, cuz the afc will only cut the % of the sensors relay to the ecu, so you probably wouldn't hit 11psi without getting CEL
no...you will go into limp mode...it's gonna backfire make weird noises fall flat on it's face...I though I blew my engine when I was hitting 15 psi and it happened
if you want to run higher boost, then drop your settings down past -40% and use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and set it about +5 psi or so. remember, its not the AFC hack thats making it throw a CEL, its the map sensor not being scaled back enough.
