Default Daily Driver teg???

I have a 2000 gsr with 48k miles and am wanting to turbo it homeade like I did my civic before. I don't want to go all out, I am not looking for crazy power but just a nice kick up from stock (i hate driving stock). How much is safe for a daily driver and so the engine will last a long time I was thinking 5-6 psi intercooled or not?? Not going to be a racer, just a nice fun car.
thanks

7-8 psi, but defenatlly intercooled. It helps verry much with detonation (well not detonating) you know what I mean. But that is the bigest problem with FI. And dont skimp on fuel management. Its been mentioned, but Uberdata and an obd1 ecu with a harness will do wonders for your set up. You can safely run a 200+ whp on stock eng. 98ctr

I'm doing the same, going 7-8psi on T3 and going obd1 with a chipped ecu. I hope for ~200whp.
