Default hybrid turbo possibilities? (14b/t3)

i doubt it's possable but after doing some flow maps i've found that for the power i'd like to make w/ my mr2 (4ag) the 60 trim t3 is the perfect compressor, i'd like a bit quicker spool then the t3 can provide though and can't afford ball berrings

i know a T25 would allow the hybrid but i've got a line on a 14b turbo for cheap

does anyone know if a hybrid w/ the misu turbo and the garrett is possable?

thanks
mark

mitsu/garrett hybrids are possible.. s popular mitsubishi shop called forced performance makes them ( a little bigger than you are looking for)

http://www.forcedperformance.net/dsm_turbo_green.htm

there is some info on the most popular one, the "green"

I've got no idea what it takes.. you could either just try, or call forced performance and see if they would be helpful at all

Sorry dude, the parts will not interchange between the two turbos. You will need to take the exhaust turbine from the Garrett to a machine shop and have it turned down to the Mitsu shaft size to run it in the Mitsu center section, then you will have to have an adapter plate made to put the center section on the Garrett exhaust housing. Not worth the effort in my opinion. Also, any time you disassemble a turbo the turbines will have to be rebalanced by a turbo shop or it will shake itself to pieces.

what you could do is get the compressor side off a 20 and put on your 14. \
