Default Z6 into a 97 civic OBD2-OBD1 wiring question

The motor is in the car and partially hooked up, but I noticed that a few connectors don't seem to have any where to plug into and neither of them fit into the purge canister solenoid.

Just wanted a quick run down of which connectors are going to be left off.

Car is a 97 Civic HB (originally had the D16Y7 automatic)
Engine in there currently D16Z6 from a Del Sol

I highly doubt there is any special sensors from the Del Slo, but I wasn't sure.

I knew the OBD2-1 harness,
that's a no brainer.
VTEC as well.

I have my P28 but I was thinking of just tricking the CFK sensor and running it OBD2 for a while.

And don't Y7's have the 2 wire IACV originally?

I just have like two connectors right by the intake manifold that have nowhere to plug, I assume the 3 wire one is the IACV even though I thought I plugged that in.

But yea the injector plugs are different as well, but I have the ones from the Del Sol so I can retro fit them I guess.

Hey chris,

Also what's the best way to get the actual shifting linkage off of the transmission, teh B-series has that little pin that you can hammer out with an allen key but this ****** looks riveted in?

Or are I sofa king? :1

if your talking about the "bitch pin" its the same thing. Hammer and punch away, takes like 30 seconnds at most. I used a air hammer though, left it with a bigger gape than Lil Bow Wow's -------, so now mine rocks a cap screw and lock nut

no you need a 2 wire iacv plug w wire iacv no go on obd1. If you need one I have a box full of them just for this issue pm me I sell cheap

The bitch pin is easier done outside of the car. A heavy hammer and a allen key will do the trick. Expect to cursh god atleast 3 times will doing it the first time
