well i hate to ask because i know everyone will just say to search more. BUT...

I recently replaced my tired Z6 block with a fresh A6 block. I had to use a D15 timing belt and it is still pretty loose.

When I first ran it i think the valve timing was off it was pretty sluggish and the only way it would run right is to turn the distributor all the way forward. With 93 Octane gas it still had alot of spark knock.

I tried re setting the timiing toniight by setting but it still seems the same

any suggestions? if you're going to say "SEARCH" then dont say anything at all.
