y8 harness ob2 Question

Ive been told my harness for my y7 will work with my b16a2 motor all cept i dont have a vtec or knock sensor.. so if i had a y8 harness will it just go directly on the b16 motor?

y8 i think so
the y7 wont work it needs to be modafied
