Default Fuel system problems

Here is the summation of the problem.

Swapped Built Y8 into 94 EX. So that was pretty easy.

Drives pretty well. The IAT sensor is hanging right now until I install it somewhere. I don't think this has anything to do with the problems, but I included it anyway. It is the only thing not normal on the motor/install.

Everything is normal forever, then I get a strong hesitation in the car. It won't go about ~3k. Souns like limp mode, but no CEL's or anything. It goes away after pulling it outta gear and reving it outta gear.

The problem arises for a moment every no and then.

This last week I got CEL and it was for malfunctioning fuel delivery system. So I thought I should address it.

I replaced the fuel filter last night and nothing happened after that, but it has only been 12hours or so. The stuttering only occurs once a week or so.

So here is the million $ question. Because the CEL came on, does that mean it is an electrical problem?

Injectors are all seated securely. No leaks anywhere.

Sounds like a problem with the wires going to the injectors. Is one cut or did you change the clips?

All the injector wires and clips look fine. It is really hard to troubleshoot because it happens so spiraticly (sp?)

what kind of injectors are you using? dsm i would guess. why not check the fuel pump while you are at it as well though i would think you probably have a new walboro already

I'm assuming it ran fine before so it wouldn't be the fuel pump. Something that happens only once in a while is hard to diagnose. My guess is loose wiring somewhere most likely fuel injectors.

Well it happened for an extended period of time tnight. I couldn't get above 55mph or so. The fuel was just cutting out.

This is on 240cc stock injectors and N/A. I have also changed ECU's out, so that has nothing to do with it. It is a total studder, not just a dead cylinder or anything like that. I am gonna pull the fueel lines and see if there is something screwed up there.

I just switched my 91 si FPR with the one on my new z6 fuel rail. So I figure they must be pretty universal.
