Right this is going to be a long post so keep with me, im trying to help someone out who has a problem with there car

CAR : 2000 VTI B16A2 OB2a

first off this car blew up N/A a few months ago, so instead of rebuilding for n/a he decided to get it built for boost, so off he went and had the engine built with low comp forged internals and bought a turbo kit, He had the kit installed by a garage.

Then he converted from OB2A to OB1 to run uberdata or crome,

Bear in mind that all this was done at once, the engine installation and converting to OB1!!

This is where the problem started, the car starts but had several codes, oil pressure sensor and vtec solinoid. we sorted the codes out by bridging some pins on the ecu to bypass the vtec oil pressure.

The car will start perfectly, will rev smoothly on half throttle but as soon as you nail the gas pedal it splutters and wont rev smoothly,


Things we have done to try and resolve the problem:

Put stock ecu back on and stock injectors : Problem not solved
New 2.5 map sensor tried : Problem not solved
Stock map sensor put back on : Problem not solved
2 differant p30 ecus, 1 known to be working : Problem not solved
Gapped the plugs to .28 : Problem not solved
Tried crome and uberdata : Problem not solved


Also the thing i find the weirdest is no matter how much fuel we take out at idle the AFR is 8.3ish, The map doesnt seem to be responding to any changes we make!

Any ideas on what the ---- i can do next, me and another bloke are ripping our hair out trying to figure this ------- car out!

Did you mix up the TPS and MAP sensor plugs?
