Default is it worth rebuild?

I am having problemswith my tranny (90 acura integra manual tranny) second gear grinds when i go to put it in gear and i hink on of my bearin seals are gone the tranny has 254, miles on it but i hav a b16a with ke 60, o t and i dont ko if i should rebuild my tranny if it will be worth the time or ifi should spend 300 dollars on one?

Sure if you know how to rebuild a tranny it shouldnt be a big deal at all, rebuild kits are around 175 I think.

Or if you can find a JDM B16 cable tranny they have much shorter gears.

ya a Y1 os S1 cable tranny would leave you VTEC after shifts.
( you have to rev the sucker to redline to leave the engine in vtec mode).
your LS tranny most likely drops u about 1000 below vtec.
you will get better MPG w/ the LS though.
