i've got 5 bucks on the ignitor too, friend of mine replaced one in his car about 3 months ago. Ran great for years, went to go start it after he just shut it off, and the bitch wouldn't run. We were on it for 2 days with a lab scope

Anyone know how to fix it besides going back to stock?
throw in (between tach/crane) some low uf caps (.xxuf) like .47 or something, maybe 1uf, see if it stops.

Ya, output of the Crane may be to sensitive or strong for a stock tach. Caps will take the spikes out of that.

they're probably square wave like that of my msd. you need to run a tach like auto METER not auto GAGE which isn't compatible with that form of signal

They make good repro parts, or sell repackaged OEM ones at a discount. I wouldn't run anything other than a Honduh igniter.

Replacing the whole distributor usually means cheapshit chinese reman distributors which are the LAST thing you want on a turbo car. Advance Auto Parts quality igniters are problems waiting to happen. Just steal a used OEM one out of any other HondAcura of the same era, or go Beck Arnley.
