Weird ever since I put a crane ignition and coil in my 92 accords tach jumps all over to. the car doesn't cut out or drive bad like ***** , the tach just acts like it did a few line of coke.
Anyone know how to fix it besides going back to stock?

i've got 5 bucks on the ignitor too, friend of mine replaced one in his car about 3 months ago. Ran great for years, went to go start it after he just shut it off, and the bitch wouldn't run. We were on it for 2 days with a lab scope

Ya, output of the Crane may be to sensitive or strong for a stock tach. Caps will take the spikes out of that.

Replacing the whole distributor usually means cheapshit chinese reman distributors which are the LAST thing you want on a turbo car. Advance Auto Parts quality igniters are problems waiting to happen. Just steal a used OEM one out of any other HondAcura of the same era, or go Beck Arnley.
