What u guys think??????
Head gasket is out of question....do you think that if my radiator is touching my downpipe that would cause my ---- to overheat? I drove it around in the heat for about 30 minutes and had no problems. But all of a sudden my temp gauge will go up alilittle bit and eventaully come back down.U think if i wrap my downpipe that it would help?Im not burning coolant so?I have no ------ idea

im assuming if it was the headgasket it would not sit in traffic for 10 mindutes in 90 degree heat. So it could basically be the thermostate gets stuck some times and causes the motor to overheat

Take the themostat out and bleed the ---- out of the system. Check the radiator for hot/cold spots, make sure the fan is working, and if all that ---- is good and it still overheats, just give up. :P
Also, I had a blown head gasket once and it wouldn't overheat at idle, no matter how long it idled.

with a turbo and half fan that is touching the downpipe in 90 degree heat. It just seems to me that my radiator isnt getting wnouph airflow on top of the heat from the d-pipe lowering its effiency. Ive bein beatin it and its been fine. Just fsome times it does it.
