I never heard about metalic stuff in it. I don't see how it could make it any worse then what it is. Probably the people that said that is because there tranny was already messed up. I am going to probably try syncromesh since i have some extra bottles just sitting in my garage. There are standard trannys with ATF in them too (GM with plastic cages) <-- food for thought. Gm use to be proud of syncromesh cause it use to be 15-20 bucks a bottle. It is good. Read some other posts cause its on here already. I know some other dudes have used it.

i use gm syncro mesh in my si tranny and i dont grind going into thrid anymore and the shifting feels smoother. well worth 6.16 a quart

I recently replaced my tranny fluid with good ol' Honda MT fluid, did the trick just fine. I have heard people using GM or BG Synchromesh (same fluid practically, just different name), I guess that works well too in Honda transmissions (does excellent in DSM transmissions).

Just remember if your 3rd gear grinds or barely goes in, there is no such thing as tranny rebuild in a bottle.

i put synchro mesh im my lst d16 ex tranny and it made it a millions tons better.
it was pretty shitty before hand.lol

i heard some places use honda trans oil and then a little automatic trans fluid. i myself just use acura manual trans fluid, same ---- of course as honda but for some reason its cheaper then the honda dealer.


but last time i just used whatever leftover motor oils i had layin around
