I have to build my oil return line, I have all the fittings and the braided steel line. To me it looks pretty simple to put together, but the guy where I got everything said, I need some kinda lubricant when I assemble them onto the line, and also in between fittings? Anyone know for sure?

Tom, on the actual threads of the fittings you should use anti-sieze. As far as putting the AN fittings onto the hose, it's a bitch and a half. If you're trying to keep the fittings looking fancy, I'd take it to a hose place and let them do it. The fittings and the hose are made to fit so tightly together that it's very difficult to do. It can be done, but having a vise and a couple swear words is mandatory.

thanks guys, just wanted to make sure I dont ---- up my 100$ return line(I dont care about how they look as much as destroying the threads). I wish I knew about stealthmode lines before I bought these.
