well if you already have a knock the motor is internally damaged so an new pump isnt goin to fix that.

Yes, thats directed at you. Haiving a spun bearing may throw more oil on the cylinder walls but thats not going to make him burn more oil.

When the #1 rod bearing spun in my Y8 it started to lose oil rapidly. When I tore it down all of the other bearings were fine and the #1 piston was crusted black while the others were fine. Any ideas.
