well im hooking up an MSD rpm activation switch on my d16y8, sence im still using my stock 91 wiring harness,.. nothing will activate VTEC, so im useing the MSD switch,... which plug on the solenoid is the positve and negative,... anyone ever use this msd switch? thnx

 

there should only be one wire for the vtec solenoid. what you are probably looking at is the vtec oil pressure plug. ignore that.

 

well on the instructions on themsd ---- it says like the yellow wire goes to the negative of the solenoid, and the positive goes to the 12v (battery)
