OBD 1 is easier to work with than OBD 2. OBD1 has less connections. A P28 is an OBD 1/ OBD2 SOHC VTEC ECU. Most P28 ECU's are 92-95. There are some not many P28 OBD 2 ECU (96-9, most of the time is P2P.

my friend offered me some crowder valve springs and retainers for $ 10.00 i know the price is right but i dont knoe about installation is that expensive and how would it affect my performance

is it really worth the time and trouble for a lousy sohc head??
again pardon my ignorance i am b18b crazy.
swap in a 92 thru 95 ls motor. can be done for 1800 with mounts, just use the ls ecu.
130hp and more torque and a better power plant than any sohc vtec.
did i mention?
less wiring??
