Default Tranny Wont come loose!!

I pulled out the entire block and tranny, I am wanting to remove the tranny. But the bitch wont budge loose. What am I doing wrong. I followed the removal guide from one of the manuals I printed of here. The 5 bolts have been removed whats the deal?

I use a big rubber mallet and knock the tranny on the far end a few times...then when i get a small separation between the block and tranny i jiggle a screw driver in a little ways and I work the crack(lol "work the crack :P ) while poudning with the mallet...it eventually slides out and off. I do this with it on the ground BTW

yeah dont forget the bottom starter bolt. also the dust cover on the bottom (engine side) has 2 12mm or 14mm bolts and 2 10mm bolts. those all hold the trans to the engine too.

yeah ive got to agree with everyone else....I just swapped mine this weekend...remove the starter and dust cover...you cant to it on the lift cause the shaft in the tranny will bind up and just make it harder to remove..it has to be pulled straight off. Try the robber mallet to get it a little loose...then wiggle that bitch off.

remove the starter and clutch between the tranny and engine. Also check for missed bolts from the engine side to the tranny
