Damn I never removed the bottom starter bolt.
I personally have never had a tranny stick hardcore unless somthing was left bolted in etc... like the other night i missed a bolt from the engine to the tranny on the back of the block (sorta out of plain sight) and i didnt pick up on it right away

crank pulleys are the enemy..i hate them with a passion.

however, u usually heat the bolt and the go to work with a large breaker bar and a big *** pipe.

make sure the flywheel doesnt move though.

I drive around without the 5th rear bolt from egnine to tranny and without the bottom starter bolt .
When I blow my engines I can swap them easy...4 bolts and the tranny comes loose from the engine

the best way is with a chain wrench and a breaker bar. most part stores will rent u a tool made to pull honda crank pulley bolts.

first time I had to do that with the engine off, I shoved a piece of metal against the flywheel, somehow keeping it from turning, and then wrenched the crap out of it.

now you can get a pulley tool, makes it much easier. you put it on, use a ratched to hold it in place, and then work on the pulley bolt with a breaker bar.
