well i got a d16a6 tranny layin around not sure what to do with it goes threw 1-5 just fine but reverse is shot what do yall thank i should do go get it a rebuild or just junk it and try to find another? if i decide to rebuild any one got any estamites on what a shop whould charge me i would do it my self but never opened up a tranny before

for a shop to go thru a tranny, your talking 500-600 or higher!

well like i said 1-5 shifts perfect but the tranny won't engage reverse the tranny i have tryed every thang i know and it woun't engage i finnaly took it out of the car and put my hf tranny back in and going threw the gears with the tranny out of the car it still woudn't engage into reverse

Reverse isn't used in racing anyway. :P
