timing how to

Default timing how to

hey i have no idea how to do timing i have a 90 1.6 block and 92 95 vtec head i already got the timing belt i just need to know how to set it up. its probably stupid question but i have no idea and ill appricaite any help

I think he is asking about putting on the timing belt, not setting the ignition timing. (right?)
With it being a gen 4 block and a gen 5 head I don't know if it is any differant, but normally you just line up a mark on the crank pully with one on the block, and the same with a mark on the cam gear. You should get a service manual, it explains it pretty well.
Here's a link where you can get some online, http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/workshopmanuals.html, there's a thread with more link at the top of the hybrid/tech forum. It has manuals for both years, I would compare the two.
Somebody else will have to tell you if you have to do anything different since it is a hybrid setup.

yea i going to put my head on friday i wanted to know how do i set up with the pistons and with the head
