Also, the shredded belt makes me think the belt was walking into the crank or toward the block. See the statement above.

got the head back from the machine shop and 500 dollars later its almost ready again.


but till then, post up whatever you guys might think will be useful for my dumbass so that this doesnt happen again.


i reread the manaula 3x over but if this happens again im gonna roll it down a hill !!

i got the head on and everything but now im debating if it could have something to do with the cams. could it be possible ?

No. Unless your cam is insanely warped and your machinist is an increadibly retarded ----, then no. Spin all the pullies and make sure they are spining true. Watch carefully.

yeah, cams are new with like 600miles or maybe even less. i talked to some guy and he mentioned something about the cams, thats why i asked.


we'll see how it goes with the new tensioner, i forgot i ripped my IM gasket another one is coming in tomorrow.

lets hope i dont have another post about this in like 7days. lol
