Do what you were told. You said you checked the grounds but did you check the plug under the dizzy? I dont think so.....Why dont you start by fixing the problem you have now before you swap. Do you think a new motor will magicaly make the temp gauge work. It a wiring issue not a engine issue

well, some people said it could be the plug in the head, so i was wondering if i could use the plug out of the teg im pulling the motor out of. but you're right, it's probably in the wiring, ill check that today, since im a ------ lame-*** and dont work this weekend. but thats besides the point....

check this out, you try to plug the sensor in your head in, if that doesnt do it I will send u a sensor for 10 shiped.
