Default Talking on another forum, for a cheap strong hybrid...

F22 block 85mm
H22 crank
F22 rod (modded to acomodate slightly larger wristpin... less than 1mm overall)
oem piston 4g63-t 85mm (those are forge if i dont mistake)
h23 head... or h22 head for those who have more cash

so it would give 2.0l with 8.6:1 compression (h23 ou f22 head) or 8.3:1 with h22/f20b head
rod stroke ratio 1.56, strong block... with stronger piston

cheap to find the parts:
-f22 block are around 150$
-h22 crank... can find for 100$
-oem 4g63t piston are less than 100$ on dsmsource
-h23/f22b head are around 200$ complete

Even if it's not a project i'm gonna do now...what do you guys think of that?

Right now... i'm gathering parts for my built d15b7 turbo...

d15b7 block
d15b crank (already have)
TT rod (already have)
vitara piston
z6 head (already have but i could take the other one i already have... homemade ported with zex 59300)

and i have my 2 hybrid ex tranny with zc gearset...

moving from my na 12:1 d16z6 ... to turbo
n/a sucks...

well... d15b7 block with d15b crank... no machine work

it still has the small journal size for the main but bigger journal for the rod

yup... except it's more costly for the block, you still need to find piston... and rods are too long
