How strong is D16a6 internals?

Re:How strong is D16a6 internals?
Compare? their is hardly a diffrence..
D16y8/z6 have same size rods, both use cast pistons, same RS for Crank. Neither has an advantage over the other one. The Z6 supposivly has a better flowing head, but the Y8 has a better flowing intake manifold. OBD1 Is a bit easier to work with when boosting, but OBD2 isnt that hard either..
The Y8 will probably have a bit less miles since it was used in later cars, But thats about it.
The A6 also has the same RS ratio, same size rods, and cast pistons. D-series are all pretty close to the same, honda didnt make very many big changes with them.
If your asking how much HP? I wouldnt be ------- with anything over 230hp.. We have a member on the board that has broke all rules with D-series rods and was making like over 300hp to the wheels on a stock D-series bottom end, but he did crank it up and ended up blowing the ---- out of it.
