your in luck, im now a lame brake tech you can open the bleeder screw on the wheel cylinder twist it in one direction while pulling outwards. make sure you put a line lock down on the line then bleed the hell out of it when your done, if that dont work you can always cut the back nail clips and just buy a new hardware kit, if you cut the nail clips (they are on the backside of the backing plate for the drum assembly.) then everything will just fall apart inside and come right off.

also if you have a adjuster window in the back on the backing plate (usually Held in by a rubber grommet) then you can turn the adjuster arm down and it will let off on the tention. my 4 dr dont have it but maybe your rex does if you need more help pm me Good luck mang,
