stock oil press sender not hooked up- no light
i have a oil press gauge and the stock sensor is not connected or installed, realized the other day my oil press light on my cluster goes off still when the car starts, whats up with that
I used a couple T's screwed together to get two 1/8th NPT ports on my oil line, one for my oil pressure guage (mechanical) and one for the oil pressure sensor. The T's are remote mounted. I have a BSP fitting with a hose barb on the block so it doesn't snap off. Hope the summit twist tite hose and barbs works good.

It won't turn on the light unless you ground the wire...which the sensor does when it sees no oil pressure. And there are no ecu codes for low engine oil pressure, only the oil pressure sender next to the spool valves on vtec heads.
