still no vtec

Default still no vtec

ok ihave a 93 integra with a ls/vtec but i have no vtec at 5700rpm where vtec should be theres nothing my oil presure drops from around 90 psi to 60 psi and no vtec can someone help

i'm with jago unless you buy the premium honda vtec fluid then you wont hit vtec hard, Never resuse old vtec fluid.

It could be numerous things why your VTEC is not kicking in. But make sure your VTEC wirings is hook up properly. You have enough oil. Make sure there is not dent on your oil pan. Had a dent on my B16 oil pan once and VTEC just wouldnt engage for some apparent reason. And make sure the engine is warm up before VTEC will actually engaged. Hmmmm....

It could be many things, how do you expect us to fix it with little to no info? Go hold your monitor next to your car and I'll have a look.
