b20 vtec or ls vtec?

b20 vtec or ls vtec?
I just got of a friend a complete b16a vtec head out of a 89 teg ,is that obd1? .Now im not sure if i should buy a ls teg or a b20 prelude?which would be better ?Im planing on using a vafc and 50-75hp shot of nos not sure which nos setup either as ive never had a car on nos.Also what sort of power gain would i get from the vtec head on which ever car?Thanks for your help

yes,the head was off a jdm teg .Ive done a bit a research and seems like theres alot more to a ls/vtec and money behind then i relized.Ive got the complete head ,arp rod bolts,b16a pistons.Would it just be better to turbo a ls motor than vtec it?What gives the ls/vtec the torque?is it the crank? Just say i got a jdm b16a vtec and fitted a ls crank would this be a power upgrade?Ive got a d16z6 turbo at the moment but i wana try a b-series for my next motor.I can get a eg civic sir front cut for $4000us.And do a swap and keep my eg civic.

I personally like the CRV-TEC setup but thats my own personal take.
As some of the other guys have said, B20 from the preludes are good for nothing pieces of ****. They will not fit the B16 head. You are better off going with the LS bottom or a getting a CRV B20B or B20Z bottom block. Both will give you more torque than a B16 to start off with just because of the larger displacement. But there is more $$$ involved and miscellaneous things you have neglected to look at. A B20 VTEC is a pretty damn expensive swap and build up to say the least...
In the end, its up to you...
