The B18 is just the opposite. Beefy rods and a larger displacement, along with a better flowing head and the capability to covert to an LS/VTEC.
I love my D series motors, but they don't have the potential of a B. I've recently came to this realization.

That k24 TSX motor has a electronic throttle control and would be a PITA. Just get a b and gimme the d! I love my d series engine and I'm stockpiling em in my garage and have 3 sohc's sitting in my garage right now with different plans for each one.
