Was just doing some research on the whole cutting hardened cranks on hondas. Hiprofile says they can be micropolished a couple times supposedly.

My question is what about a crank that's been sitting in a barn for a while. The thing was perfect when it was put there, but now has the slightest touch of rust. I'm talking the little specs that you can barely see and just feel with your nail.

You guys recommend just having the crank polished and it'd be good to go? I have a perfect crank in a motor and one that's got the touch of rust specs. I'm selling the engine with the good crank to someone to put in a stock car. I'm using the other in a semi built engine for boost. Worth polishing and swapping cranks before I sell the engine?
