ok im getting ready to do a minime, in my 92 dx. i have some questions about it.
1. i got the ngk hx spark plugs, what should i gap them to?
2. what octane gas should i run. im gonna have about 10:1 compression.
3. will it be safe to put boost on it in the future.
4. does anyone want to sell me their ex tranny, cause my syncro is out in 3rd.

Just gap them at stock .044 or lower, lots of people like .035

92 or 91 Prem/Super Unleaded, definatly going to need some higher octane fuel due to the higher compression.

3. will it be safe to put boost on it in the future.

With proper management yes, I had 2 turbo mini-me's both of them did just fine, I'd suggest getting a pretty good engine management system something that will control your fuel/spark needs such as hondata/emanage/uberdata etc, AFC probably could work, but your going to need something to back the timing down under boost like a BTM.

4. does anyone want to sell me their ex tranny, cause my syncro is out in 3rd.

I have a EX/SI Tranny (hydro) sitting in my buddies garage, I just "Aquired" it, if your local to (wash state) how does 75 bucks sound? Otherwise I'm not shipping a trans.

thanks that helps alot. but im in NC so i dont think that i could come and get it. lol. but i plan on chipping my ecu soon for uberdata anyway so that is not a problem.

 

theres jeff, possibly the only person lazier than me to ship ---- in the world, would rahter not make 75 bucks than take it to the ups store.......thatta boy
