clean your battery terminals, make sure they are corrosion free, and tight on the ------- terminal posts. apply some dielectric grease or LIGHTLY some anti-seize (Ni or Cu) and make sure you don't over-tighten your hold down cracking the top of your case
pretty important part of your electrical starting system

JD, you are entertaining as hell. It's like elegant asswiping, in this case the tp is made of words and the poo is dummyboy.

School for retards:
When you turn your key to the start position power is sent to the solenoid, which is a switch. If the solenoid functions properly the "switch" will close allowing power to pass through it to the starter motor. If the solenoid is not functioning the "switch" cannot close to allow power to pass through to the starter motor. If your solenoid is not functioning you can sometimes bypass (ARC) the "switch" to allow power to reach the starter motor and in turn start the vehicle.
Like I said before...if this isnt the problem then you are not getting power from the ignition to close the "switch" or solenoid.
JD, you are entertaining as hell. It's like just because you're HMT Staff with a million posts I like to bounce around random threads and suck your ****.

You ------- ********, the OP is not bypassing the starter solenoid when he says he is arcing it. What he means is that he is bypassing the key switch, not the solenoid.
Damn you're ------- retarded.
Someone beet this with the NBG stick.
