solid CEL but wont let me check? please help!
I have a 90 integra rs with a b18a1 i believe (its stock) and i'm getting a solid CEL only when the car is up to normal operating temperature. i tried to check to see what code it was giving but it wont throw a CEL unless the car has been running for a minute or so, so how do i check for the code? i cant just turn the key on with the jumper in because the CEL will not be on yet. another thing, if i shut my motor off and restart it while i'm doing 60 or so the light will not come back on until i slow down and my rpm's drop below 2500, as soon as i hit about 2500 rpm the light will pop back on. But if i keep the rpm's up the light will not come on, i'm frickin confused any help would be appreciated.
So i guess my question here is should i be able to check for the code without turning the motor off? or does anybody know what the hell could be wrong with it?
PS: i already replaced my o2 sensor, my number 4 spark plug does have a lil oil on it tho.

First of all, don't say solid CEL. It's not a "solid" CEL until you have actually jumped the service connector and it stays solid.
I've never had a problem like this before, so I may be wrong, but what I would do is jump the connector as soon as the CEL comes on, then turn your key back one click so it's in the ON position.
