aren't these D15b's in the VTi "3-stage VTEC" ?
I was looking thru some JDM honda brochures, and we noticed the "3-stage VTEC" motors in the 96-99 Civic VTi...
Kinda cool, imagine 3 stages!
I want one!

I have yet to see any 96-99 vti motors in the states. The only ones i have seen are obd-1 92-95. Also for everyone who wanted to know the vti lsd tranny is hydro. Sorry crx and 4th gen civic lovers.
well, i was trying to find out some info on which i believe is the 1st gen sohc zc. ..so i did some furstrating looking around online and if the sohc zc is vtec, then the engagement should be at 5,500 RPM. I have one so ima try it out soon. ..Been having some ghost electronic problems. Probly the old ignition switch.
