Default Si Harness for STD with DOHC ZC

People keep telling me that a Si/HF harness cant be used with a DX/Std chassis, but no one has told me why.

WHY??

Im sure some wires will have to be extended for certain sensors, but why can't a SI harness be used, versus hacking up a DX/Std harness for OBD-0 MPFI motors?

rule of thumb is to NEVER change the harness, always modify your current one to work.

Oh ok. Just curious. Thanks.

DOHC ZC or D16A1 harness=same deal as Si? I'm assuming yes, but I might as well ask while I'm typing.

MPFI's been setup a while ago, its just I keep getting wierd *** problems, and sometimes the car will start, sometimes it wont. I know its something electrical. I do have a question for you. For my CYL sensor, I used 18 gauge wire (soldered connections) to wire it to the orange/white wires for DPFI CAS. That was the smallest gauge wire I could buy, but it was still larger than stock. I keep getting a code 9 for unknown reasons. and it wont start cause of that

I had the last wire at the even row of "B" fray. Then I got codes 1,4,15,16,and 20-no 9. But the car ran. When I fixed it, everything went away, but Code 9 came back? WTF
