i would get a good shifter. it would suck to have it snap off. at least get a steel one, ive heard that the ebay ones are some cheap pot metal or aluminum.

 

Owned three. The ALUs are junk My new steel ebay one is perfect it only took me three times to get the right one and all three are still cheaper then a name brand.
Plus i have a baller *** T handle on top of it.
